This is a kaleidoscape that will sit in the garden at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home in Sparks, Nevada. It will be about 12 feet high and will sit on a 10’ x 10’ footprint. In the reflections, it will create a rhombic dodecahedron.
View inside the pyramid looking up toward the apex
The lattice cutouts above the doorways will reflect into six square pyramids, and the cutouts above the benches will reflect into eight triangular pyramids. These 14 pyramids will be positioned symmetrically about the virtual space. The cutout at the apex will reflect into a rhombic dodecahedron floating at the center of the virtual space.
The structure will have benches and wheelchair accessible doorways. It will be a relaxing place to meditate or to gather with a few people. Although it will be small, people inside the structure will have the feeling of being inside a symmetrical 12-sided ball about 26 1/2 feet in diameter.

This kaleidoscape will have a mustang horse theme. The window cutouts at the base of the pyramid will have stained glass windows that picture mustang horses in a Nevada landscape.

This window will be in the two cutouts above the benches.
The kaleidoscape will be part of a large sculpture garden that is being built at the veteran's home.
